the lower room

Many have asked, “How can I help,” when they learn about the lower room. Here’s one practical thing. We have a need for living room furniture – lots of it. We are looking for sofas, easy chairs, coffee/end tables, floor and table lamps, area rugs, magazine racks, throw pillows, afghans – you get the picture. Imagine a VERY large living room (say 30′ by 50′), and you’ll be getting the idea.

If you have anything that might fit the bill, please let us know by sending an email to lowerroom@gmail.com. Whatever you can spare will be greatly appreciated. We are aiming to furnish our space entirely by donations. If you are in the central Indiana area, we can arrange to come pick up whatever you have.
